Hands on our heads for the first 10 minutes or so. Then we could put them down, but they had to be on the table where they could be seen, but still not touching the chips.

Yes, they frisked everyone, interviewed everyone, and took everyone's ID. The ID's got returned, obviously. But it took long enough that I suspect they were checking for any outstanding warrants.

Nope. Everyone was very nice about it. The cops. The dealers. No one made much fuss.

One really young dealer kept pissing off one cop. I didn't notice how it started, but I heard the cop say "This is the last time I am telling you. Keep your hands on the table." And the dealer was dumb enough to backtalk with stuff like "I wasn't doing anything."

Eventually he ended up in cuffs. That was the only incident I noticed.

At least 2 other clubs have instituted "no new members" policies.

... if you call the police and say "there's a brothel in my building" nothing happens. But if you say "guns and drugs" they come a runnin'.
