Is this a new format that's being enforced on BP?

At first, the provider had to post a link, FB, IG, whatever. Which in most instances was baloney (the link, I mean).

Now, more posts are showing up with just the number, series of pics, followed by the single word, 'Contact', and the number is posted again.

No words, nothing else.

Is BP self-regulating itself?

Assuming this is being done at BP’s request and not just a huge outbreak of laziness on the providers part, my guess is that it gives BP some deniability that they have any knowledge that the site is being used to promote prostitution. Remember, the feds are after BP for exactly that.

Exactly. There was a post recently on UG about the ads putting it right out there on what services are on the menu, right on the ad.
They shut down the "escorts" section but left the dating section open. Not too many legit personals I've seen put it right out there that on the first date you'll be getting bbbj, full serv, all for the easy cost of 120 beans.
If only dating WERE that easy.

Doesn't seem to be a hard and fast policy. Only about 20% of the ads are adhering abbreviated format and even those that do certainly get their point across with the pictures.

So BP has made it so we can’t post more than 140 characters. Now they made us put our IG and phone number. It’s all becoming a pain in the ass honestly. So the easiest thing to do is say something short and sweet.

They have cut out all abbreviations. You can’t even say incall or Outcall now.

Thanks for the confirmation. Plausible deniability was the only reason that really made sense. (Although, oddly enough, if in fact a real "W4M" non-pro wanted to post a legit ad, the inability to post any meaningful text makes BP just about useless for that purpose now).

Yeah, but then they don’t get to say flowery things like “I like traveling, walks on the beach, and quiet nights at home in front of the fireplace”. Unless their entire FB account is one big desperate plea to get noticed, and speaking just for myself, those cat videos are a major turn-off.
