How can I get verified if I've been out of the hobby for 8+ years and I'm retired so I have no work info or provider referrals? I'm willing to show my ID.

Yes, some providers, ask for verification for their safety.

The only way aside from talking her into it is to see providers that don't require verification that are also willing to vouch for you when asked. Good luck.

It greatly varies in the provider-IMHO, those that do not require references or verification-Avoid.. Thoughts beyond this- If they are that irresponsible are not concerned for their safety, why should they worry about yours—

If a gal wants to see your ID, suppose that’s ok, but do NOT send anything over internet, take a picture of it etc…

I’d ask for ID, but I would have a series of personal questions to ask you…and probably request several different items… or things I would ask to be completed - all based on your answers to my personal questions.
