AC is out of date. The casinos are old, the gamblers that still attend are old . And their fat old chain smoking wives go with them.
Buses full of seniors go to play the slots and get complimentary rooms and dinners . A lot of times their loser kids tag along for the free ride and food. They’re usually fat and in their 30’s and 40’s.
All the younger gambling addicts are on line losing their shirts over an even more rigged system than the actual casinos.
Better off hooking up with a couple of high end providers , plow them until they’re screaming so you can keep the seniors awake in their complimentary hotel rooms.

56.6% of AA women are clinically obese vs 32.8 % of white women so what you observed is somewhat consistent with the statistics.
IMHO, it has nothing to do with "COVID weight" ( @Bricktop ) as these stats are as of 2014. It also has nothing to do with "white racist micro aggressions." as the stats are just cold facts.

I don't agree with your assessment.
I saw very few seniors, although Covid might have something to do with that ( killing them off or preventing them from coming).
I spent time at the Hard Rock and the Ocean in addition to staying at the Trop and there were plenty of younger people both day and night along with the 45 to 60 crowd.
All three were crowded both nights and had a large population of well dressed 30 to 45 year olds.
I didn't make it over to the Borgota as I like to stay close to the boardwalk in the summer but that is usually also younger.
My only disappointment was the pool. At one point the cops had to be called because a few family that were together that had checked out insisted they were entitled to use the pool all day even after checking out. Never mind that there is a huge price difference in the rooms from Monday to Tuesday. Or the fact they they were drinking heavily and cursing loudly with no regards to the other people's kids, or that their kids were running around unsupervised and causing the lifeguards to focus too much attention on them.
