True Detective season 3 has been outstanding. If it were streaming I'd have finished it in two sessions.

My only fear, is that they fuck it up with some hoaky ending next Sunday.
Otherwise it has everything I'd come to expect from a top notch HBO Sunday night 9:00 show.

Late, I know, but I just saw this thread.
Season 3 was PHENOMENAL. David Milch's influence can definitely be felt. He'll be gone soon, at least mentally if it entirely (alzheimers), and if any of you havent seen Deadwood, I urge you to watch. All 3 seasons, and the final TV movie they just produced, 13 years after the series finale.
