TRT therapy? Anyone else pin themselves weekly?

#1
Long story short when I was younger I lost one of my balls to testicular cancer. Now that I’m rounding the corner to 40, I mentioned it to my doctor and I guess checking my Testosterone levels fell thru the cracks this whole time. Now I’m not saying it’s a fountain of youth but let’s say it makes a noticeable change in a lot of things. Overall my energy and focus have increased, with a little diet adjustments I’m down 15 pounds in 4 months, sex drive is thru the roof.

Anyone else on T ?

Hey BigSal,
What exactly is T Therapy? I like the sound of it, any legit side affects?
What does "Pinning" yourself actually mean?

His doctor has prescribe him testosterone which he takes by injection. Having lost a nut, his T levels (testosterone) were low although I'm pretty sure his remaining healthy nut should have compensated for it by becoming larger. Anyway, he is now experiencing what is the normal reaction from going from low T to high T.

And to the OP do a search on testosterone here and you will see it has been discussed before.

Where do you get it from? How many ml per week? I'm guessing you do cypionate?

There is good in bad to it. Like most people reaching middle-age my body was showing signs of wear. Lethargic, weight gain, overall blah. A friend of mine referred me to a urologist for a testosterone check. Results were showing that I was low. I was prescribed testosterone injections weekly. The good, almost instant energy, weight loss, increased sexual desire, overall great feeling. The bad, hair loss, testicles the size of a nine year old, Ejaculation very watery. The really bad, after deciding did not like the side effects I stopped. I swear I felt like I was close to suicidal for a full month Until my own testosterone kicked back in. But yet I still do think about using it again. According to the doctor it is a lifelong decision.

Been on it since 1996. One shot IM in the glute given by my wife, for me the needle is too long to self inject. Every 7 to 10 days 200 mg cyp. By the 7th day I can feel my super powers waning. Physically and mentally feel like crapola

Ancillary compounds: one mil injectable B12 mixed in with the test every two or three weeks (looks like a lava lamp) Donate blood every two months to keep the hemoglobin down. One aspirin a day to thin the blood. Saw palmetto mixed in with other compounds to protect the prostate. Bloodwork every 3 to 4 months. 5mg cilalis daily. When I venture into the parlor I take 100mg viagra an hour before. My feel good range in test numbers is around 900 which is the very high range of normal. Everyone’s “normal” number will be different. Some may feel good at 6 or 700. Just don’t let a doctor tell you your 300 count is normal even though you feel like shit.

Try pinching the muscle in your leg to inject yourself. Like a good one inch pinch. Like Nona would do with your cheek as a child. Makes it easy to Puncture and inject. Probably because the area is being already touched. Are all the other medication’s in addition to or because of the trt ? Haven’t been on it for five years but lately I’ve been thinking about it again. My numbers went way up into the 11 or 1200s on my last blood test. Which alarmed me. And probably the reason I was having side effects.I guess always worth another shot. The first few months I did feel like I was 18 again.

There are two blood test for testosterone, Total and Free. Free is most important because it measure the biologically active form of testosterone. In the body there is a process called aromatase which convert T to estrogen (the female hormone) so you should also have your estrogen levels checked. Since you are taking T there is a good chance your Estogen levels will be high, if that is the case you will need to take a drug called Anastrozole which inhibits aromatase.

At Lab Corp normal ranges are for Total 264 - 916 and for Free 6.6 - 18.1. You want to be in the high end of both ranges. Below 500 in Total is considered Low T. A lot of Doctors won't prescribe it if you are in the low end of the normal range. Lets say you are at 275, get a new Doctor unless you have prostate problems. The doses you would be taking are replacement doses to get you in the upper normal range they are nowhere near the amount you would need to take to produce a drastic physiological change.

Ask your Doctor about switching to Androgel (Testosterone Gel), you just rub it on your upper arms. I take 3 pumps per day and I'm between 900 and 1000 each and every day.

we should all just triple the dosage and then girls will be paying us.

I do this and inject other good stuff too, main thing is it affects my sleep alot of the time.. like i used to be able to sleep great no problem now its harder and i wake up alot. other problem i used to have it couldnt hold back cumming when doing anything with a girl hate to admit but sometimes it would be like 20-30 secs and i was done, when im on a high dose i can last way longer like until i feel like finishing unless its doggystyle that will get me to fin earlier.

i hate the whole blood donation part of it because the whole point is to lower hemocrit but if its too high they will reject you and that really stresses me out, i read some guys drain their own blood at home something to look into but id much rather have them do it for me.

there are ways to lower it though (hemo) drink a ton of water or gatorade type drinks, grapefruit, milk thistle supps, fish oil supps.

Not true. When you're on T your bone marrow goes into overdrive making red blood cell. None of those things you mentioned will inhibit that. The best course of action is donating blood via automated red cell donation which takes the equivalent of two pints of red blood cells and returns your plasma back to you.

It doesnt really make sense, they just say its unsafe for you to donate if its high which is total bs, like a fireman saying its unsafe to hose you with water if youre on fire but thats what they say maybe they just dont want to take the blood if its that high with hemo. Different places have different rules like red cross is very generous with a cut of of 60 but theyre in ct, think the places here have a cut off of like 54 or 56. They check hemoglobin but hemoglobin x 3 is your hemocrit.

its also funny ...they check blood pressure and pulse and blood pressure can be extremely high like up to 180 over 100 and thats just fine, pulse has to be 100 or under and i have a problem with that because i get nervous going in for the stupid pre exam that they will reject me and then im kinda screwed and ill have to take my chances doing it myself at home.
