The mean streets of Flushing

Item in the Flushing Times about the police crackdown on quality of life crimes.

from the article:

[Deputy Inspector James] Waters singled out the industrial area around 32nd Avenue as the center of prostitution in downtown Flushing, in particular Collins, Downing, Farrington and Miller streets.

While [district manager Marilyn] Bitterman said that street prostitution was holding steady, she was concerned that more brothels were coming to Flushing.

No great loss as to recent clean-up in that area as almost all the girls are crackheads and down right skanky. If you see a decent looking one , most likely that she is a cop.

When 33-70 Prince St had 4-6 AMPs going at any one time, I always wondered about those guys chasing the street girls.

Some might say that a 33-70 Prince St AMP was the asian equivalent of street girls.

To each his own.

Is there anyone left at 33-70 ? ( C-2 ? )

Hey, 33-70 is actually a condo, and the building has had some problems. there have been several units foreclosed on. Hey, we could buy our own unit and set up the "UGAMP".

C-2

C-2 closed about a year ago. I never did get to them. No great loss. I don't think anyone is currently working out of 33-70.

I've seen two ladies at other places who I recognized from 33-70. Both of them asked me not to mention that I ever saw them on Prince St.

You would think it had a bad rep or something.

Farrington Street

The $40 incall I used to go to on Farrington Street was raided a year ago. It was the best bargin I ever came across. Full service with a choice of 3 girls. I miss those days.
