The beginning

This section has been started to allow guys who have been involved closely with sex workers either personally or professionally to share some of their experiences as seen from the other side of the fence. The sections are divided by poster (some of them will be posting under pseudonyms) and will be more like blogs than discussion forums.

We hope that the insights of these gentlemen from their different vantage points will help the general readership gain some knowledge of what, why, when certain things happen in dealing with sex workers which might seem odd, but given some of these inside insights make much more sense.

What I would love is you and me having beers sharing war stories. Not only have we sparred and agreed to disagree over the years on all kinds of issues on this board, but I have felt a genuine mutual respect between us. You my friend would have some stories that I’d like to hear.

Here is an idea, an Internet show with a bunch of geezers like us, in silhouette or something to hide identities, talking about illicit sex and politics ala the McLaughlin report. Now that would be a hoot, and perhaps a feature of UG. Users would have to pay to access each broadcast. Just another crazy idea from this old geezer, got it from reading the Japanese thread with Lonewolf’s comments on how soap land girls are minor celebrities and featured on late night TV.

I'm not sure this is totally on topic, but I'll throw it out there. One thing I've always been curious about is the process of becoming an AMP girl. What's the thought process of deciding to enter the profession? What's it like to enquire about employment at an establishment for the first time? What's it like to have a first customer? And how do these women explain or hide what they do back home in the Far East? I guess there have always been some logistical issues that have intrigued me about the supply side of mongering.

Maybe someone who's been NP4P has some insight, and I'd love to hear it.

Most of the AMP girls in this country were working girls before they came to this country. Over there it was simply a MP or a brothel. Over the years I have gotten to know several dozen very well. Girls that became for me, ps girls. I can't remember any of them that didn't tell me that they were working over there before comming here.
In asia there is no (or certainly very little) societal stigma attached to a girl that provides sexual services for paying gentlemen. People regard it as a simple transaction by a girl who will allow a guy to have access to her youth and femininity in exchange for compensation. Most friends and families know what the girls do when they are in their country before they come over here. They (the f &f) don't talk about it, but they do know and they are OK with it as long as the girl sends money home. When the girls get over here, the f&f assume that the girls are doing the same thing.
As far as getting to work in an AMP, it is almost 100 % certain that if a girl wants (needs??) to work in a MP then either she knows someone or knows someone who knows someone who can connect her to a MP. (afer all, these aren't girls that hang out at Columbia or on Wall Street)
