Well, flew by last night to check this place out. . with BP gone and getting few/ late replies to my texts decided to TOFTT and make a deposit at "Forbidden Fruit" (now known as "Landing Strip"), heard that there might be VIP/FS type of action available ... hadn't been there since my high school days about 30 years now, it was closed (possibly past business hours)... so went to give "Temptations" (another high school haunt formerly named "Skin Games"), hoping for at least Bbj option. This is the second time I've tried to visit, and again the 5th Precinct had multiple sedan RMP's stationed in the street right in front and SUV RMP's parked in nearby lots that they could observe Temptations, all with engines running and lights on.
Anyone have any Intel, as to why the heavy police presence?
I drove past both times now, as if I was headed to other parts of the industrial park. Didn't observe any ALPR's, so most likely no Police State surveillance to know I specifically drove by, but the airport intersection would have captured that my car went down Johnson and the Lakeland Ave intersection would have caught my return back north.

Had the ability to be out late and needed a place to catch the wild card game...figured 2 birds with one stone and went in with low expectations. The set up was underwhelming, the whole dance for a few minutes, then walk around the bar expecting everyone to hand you a single is way lamer than how I remember strip clubs back in the day...at least you got to put in their tits...but then the night got better when the hottest one in the room sat down and started doing the usual talk me up game. Giovanna said she's new (yea right), but she was good company. I declined the vip room since I hadn't come prepared (hell I think 3 beers, a drink for her and the merry-go-round of tips cost me 60. Plus she confirmed that the camera is always watching and they're strict over there. Conversation turned to me asking about takeout and without flinching told me she does it but only with money up front before we leave the bar. She's hot enough that I'm tempted but I won't do the up front game and would have preferred meeting her when she wasn't at the bar. I may stop in a few times and work my way up to it but maybe I won't sit at the bar.
Word on the street is this place was shut down by the county.
A lapse in the liquor license and they used is as an opportunity to pounce on them after investigating them on drugs being sold from the club for sometime.
Not sure if they have or will reopen.
Word is that some of the dancers are now at the Landing Strip close by.
That would make three LI clubs gone in the last few months: crystal cafe, temptations & le cafe (is it some now?)

Couple of friends and I were bored at the house...had a few drinks and smoked a little on Sunday night. Someone said "I wanna see some titties" and we wound up trying to see what was open. Found out Temptations IS open (for those who care Landing Strip/Forbidden Fruit is not or was not on Sunday). Not sure if anyone cares to know, or if this is breaking news, but figured I'd share the little bit of intel (on anything) I have atm.
