SPAM

#1
I have 3 email accounts I use;
1st is for hobby/mongering/porno site related functions only. It is a Hotmail account - I get virtually no spam in that account.

2nd is for legit business and personal correspondence that consists of myname@Verizon.net. I purchased that name (and 4 more I can use) for a one time nominal cost (like 20 bucks) couple of years ago. I get almost zero (maybe a couple a year) spam. It is accessible from my computer and iPhone.

3rd is one I use for those situations where a store wants an email address, registration for software and warranties and the like - no porno, mongering sites, etc - nothing dicey. Up until 2 months ago maybe I was getting 1 or 2 spam emails a week. This has increased lately to 15 of so a day. The spams are phishing types where my credit score has changed or facebook friend (I have no facebook account) or problem with a bank account or an occasional Nigerian prince wants to send me money. this is a @aol.com account.

Have you guys seen a recent big increase in spam? What do you think is going on?

I work in email technology, the reason for this most of those store email databases get hacked at least once a year. They are so busy trying to protect credit card data the rest of the data doesn't get the protection it deserves.

In their skits that are brilliant skits, if you love the genre of humor, there is almost nothing funnier. Palin, Chapman, Cleese, Idle, and Jones. Icons.

The first time I watched Monty Python was in the movie theater. It was Monty Python's Holy Grail. That was 1974. We stayed 3 times in the theater (back then you could get away with it). Over the years, I watched that movie alone over 100 times. I had most of that movie memorized.
The Life Of Brian I think by far, was their best in satire. Human nature and organized religion and the silliness of them both were spot on.
It was a say day when Graham Chapman died because they would no longer be whole as a group.

Also Terry Gilliam's cartoons must be included in that list.
