Tried it once when the little head was piloting. Basically the girls lie, often promise ten minutes when the screen is set to close in 8 minutes (for like 30 bucks) unless you keep feeding the meter. Also there is a large plate glass divider (probably bulletproof grade) between you and the girl. So if you want to spend $30 for 8 minutes to see a girl start to play with herself behind plate glass, and instruct you to get undressed as well. Then pay more to keep the show going - it is worth it. Seeing as Ricks is nearby, it might not be.

Yes I have been there a couple of times to see what the quality of girls were and I have seen some decent girls, but for $30 and seeing a girl through a glass pane does not do it for me, they always try to sell it to me and for an extra $20 they will use a toy in front of you. To me my money can be spent elsewhere.
Thanks - I check out the vids every now and then when I'm near 33rd street. I've only gone upstairs once ... chatted/flirted w/ the girls that are at the top of the stairs when you get there. Was tempted but now glad I didn't expend the change.
When in Rick's - only cash and never drunk. And actually, always consider it more a pit stop vs. a night spot. I'll make the quick day stop just to grab one drink, see the gals and split before the regular asks for a dance. And on that note - there are a few bangin hot gals in there but I'm not in there long enough to keep track of names. I do remember one "really" hot sandy blond Latina chick - body to die for and attitude of "you can't touch this". So the periodic pit stops are some times worth it for the eye candy. That's just me.

To me, Ricks is not the place for in house fun. Either you have your own party, party favors, location and incentives to offer or you go to a lesser priced/lower quality place. I have no doubt those gals can be had but you gotta make the proposition that's more enticing to them - turn the upsell around on them is my belief.
Yes, the $10 lunch special is still there. The food is really good. If you are in the area, it's a great place to go on Friday afternoon to get your weekend started.
The other thing I've noticed recently about Ricks is that if you enjoy the company of women of color, this is the place for you. Some clubs, whether they do it deliberately or not, limit your choice to one or two ladies, and then stop hiring anyone who is not a tall, bleached blonde with implants. Ricks, to its credit in my humble opinion, breaks the mold when it comes to hiring non-stripper types of all races, colors and backgrounds. They have a number of beautiful, natural African American, Latina and South American women of all shapes and sizes working on both the day and night shifts. Plus, school starts soon, so I'm sure Ricks (like other clubs) will get an influx of new talent soon when college girls start looking for the highest paying part time job they can find.
If that is what you are looking for, Ricks is a good place to go.

Drinks are $8 before 8pm, whether you order a Diet Coke or a Long Island Iced Tea.
Dances are $20, all day and all night. As far as I know, there hasn't been a $10 lap dance in NYC since the early 1990's. (Another result of the impact of Scores on the business.) Funny how all the clubs went to $20 a dance at the same time. The price is actually higher at some clubs outside of NYC.

Sorry to bump up an old thread. Was there today and wanted to give a report.
This was my 7 or 8 visit to Ricks, last one being about 1.5 years ago. Got there at 2:30pm. No cover, wardrobe girl checked my id to see if I’m 21. Then made my way to the bar. Inside I see about 10 dancers, all under 30. 2 WOC, 3 latinas, rest were white/European. All with great bodies, tall and fit. Mostly 9s imho.
my original intention was to scout out the place. In case most of you didn’t notice, almost all NYC clubs no longer open at noon every weekday. Except Ricks and NYC Gentleman's. A few more open that early later in the week.
On this visit I wasn’t going to go to VIP or get a ton of dances. Get a drink and look around. Maybe a dance.
When I got to the bar, I figured Ill go cheap. I needed lunch anyway and I didn’t want pay for drinks. They have 15 lunch deal. Salad, main course and dessert. Got that with a glass of water.
ordered Caesar salad, with salmon and tiramisu for 15 bucks. The salad was ok, the fish was a bit dry on the outside but the asparagus that came with it was really good. The cake was good too.
looked around and chatted up with some of the ladies as I ate. Saw a WOC giving a great LD in the back. By like 3rd song he has his hands roaming basically everywhere. Saw a Latina giving a show dance to another dude. I’d be pissed of I was getting that. Another dude was getting her tits rubbed on his crotch over the clothes. 1 security dude by the bathroom. Nothing else.
I spoke with 2 girls. A Latina whose name i forgot. Just come casual convo. She was called to the stage and didn’t come back.

Next thing I see is her ordering a vodka drink for her self. I restarted the convo in an organic matter. It turned into a debate about a random topic. I finally see there is no getting through to her and changed the topic. Asked her about the club rules. She said she doesn’t know exactly VIP prices but they start off at 300 per 30 min and then a tip for her. Then there are 20 bucks for ~4 min dance. Complains that she hasn’t made any money that day. Basically the spoiled entitled brat comes out. I bring up clubs outside Manhattan and prices there. She calls those places dirty and cheap…. At this point my time is almost up. I’ve been staring at her for a while and my junior is really being a jackass. My big head on the other side says: waste of money. Guess who won.
I decided to take her for a dance. She takes me to the chars on the wall leading to the stage door. We wait for the next song to start. To be fair, it was a really nice first dance. Lots of contact and she let me grab ass and get licks on the tits. No touching up top though. Def not an air dance. Her ass is really nice. I probably could have nutted in my pants from sustained grind in RCG after 2 more songs. But it’s Ricks. They don’t dance like that downstairs. I ended it after 1 song. She was pretty pissed and ignored me for the rest of my time there. Finished my food and bounced. 15 bucks for the food, 20 for the dance, and 5 bucks for tips. 40 bucks all in for a very decent 3 course lunch and a good lap dance. (I drank water and tipped the bar tender 5 bucks).

Another quick observation about the neighborhood. Walking from the subway entrance on 32nd st there is a ton of dudes selling recently legalized substances. The reason I’m pointing it out is the way it’s done. There is a ton of tables on the sidewalk, I’m guessing added during Covid. And this stuff is just casually laid out in plain view. As if the dude is having a coffee and just happened to have it out on the table. Maybe 20 guys like that. Just plain crazy imho. Made that walk super sketchy.

Next time im in NYC I am going to have to stop in.

It was worth the trip to be honest. My main goal was to determine if I should put this place to my usual rotation. However I will not be doing that. Is a bit too much out of the way (for my situation) to make it a regular liquid lunch location.
As far as LD costs, a lot of places went up to 25 or 30 per dance. Some charge even more. I can see that being fair for a separate LD area. Main floor, in the open, 25 or more is a stretch.
Manhattan is mostly main floor in the open. 20 seems fair as long as it’s not an air dance.
Btw if one is coming to NYC and has spare time, I’d just hit up one of the NJ clubs for better value with similar quality girls. Especially night time. The Hitching Post and Roxxies in Paterson are 30 min from Lincoln tunnel. Taboo in Linden is 30 min from Lincoln tunnel as well.
Manhattan clubs can be enjoyed on the budget. Just have to be comfortable to say no/not now/ maybe later/ let me think about it. Don’t order alcohol. Order food instead. Go shortly after they open. Go on days they have less staff ie Sunday-Tuesday. Less of annoying managers to push VIP or monitor the girls.
