Kind of scary how long ago 1972 was. I have clear memories of Nixon going to China in 1972 and the Watergate hearings the following year. Now I'm feeling old.
Yes I guess it was kinda scary how long ago 1972 was.
Was even more scary for other reasons. For example during the Tet Offensive - 1968) my high school buddy (he played tackle, I played guard in 1966 high school season) came home in box.

Yeah, I have clear memories too of that era.

The only good part is that drinking age was 18 then. Odd you could drink and die at age 19 but couldn't vote until 21 for those idiots who sent you to fight a useless war.

86 version called manhunter because studio was afraid red dragon would be taken as a karate flick versus suspense by the public.
Noonan. Was in a bunch of movies mostly in smaller or supporting roles.

Hall of Fame second baseman. Played 17 seasons in the majors, all with the Pirates. Won 8 Gold Gloves. A ten-time NL All-Star. All-time leader in double plays turned as a second baseman. Won two World Series, and is the only player to hit a walk-off home run in Game Seven of the World Series.

That home run came at the Yankees expense in the 1960 WS
