Would it be possible to set up a "locked" discussion on Twitter among a selected group of users, not unlike this board? Of course, it couldn't be moderated, which would probably be its downfall. What else would be the pros and cons?

Right now, I'm following a provider with a locked list. I'm not sure how truly private it is, though. I mean, if you search under someone's handle on Twitter, don't you see their posts, or can that be controlled through the "settings"?
