Ode to My Cat

rob, I got my guy at the pound. I couldn't believe when they brought out this beautiful, big healthy cat. (I think they gave me their favorite). I can't believe that my guy was there. He is a great cat. He is deaf now and I suspect his eyes are shot. But, he gets first dibs on the bed next to me. One Shih Tzu sleeps on the other side and the othe Shih Tzu sleeps at my feet.

It will be three years come July; if you are ready, going to the pound or shelter would be a wonderful thing to do as a memory to your friend and companion.

Gavy - If/when the time comes, the only way I would go would be to adopt. There's a rescue organization that brings some of their rescues to a pet store in my neighborhood and they do amazing work, taking sick and injured animals and providing them with whatever care they need to heal and thrive - I would seriously consider adopting one of their cats...if/when the time comes...
