New rules (updated Feb 2008)

Lets see a new era of civility here in Politics & Religion, so

1. No derogatory name calling, any posts that have offensive terms will be deleted

2. No more wholesale posting of manifesto’s or articles. You will pare the article for the components you want to highlight, and provide a hotlink for the full article. For every sentence quoted you’ll need to author 2 original sentences. Any post that doesn’t contain this formula will be deleted.

3. The “Lepke rule”, if you accuse someone of being
• A anti-Semite
• A racist
• A Nazi/Commie/Right wingnut/Liberal fucknut/Whatever

Then you need to quote the accused “posts”, that’ means more than 4 and be ready to defend your accusation. Any one who can’t adhere to this rule will find their posts deleted.

These are by no means a way to enforce any sort of censorship, the exchange of ideas just need to be brought up to a different level.
