Shuttered as in closed for business and name removed from the awning, just like I wrote before. I did not notice anything else.
But, it took me about a half a minute in Google to find their street address and in turn, find two articles about that location and others in the first page of hits.

Well, if I hadn't just stumbled out of their upstairs neighbor I might think of taking a stab at it just to give everyone feedback. But here is what I suspect...
The $10 offer is what retailers call a loss leader. Something to get a customer in the door, even if it means outright losing money.
figure, how many men really want a woman doing nothing but foot/ankle work for a whole hour. So after an hour, or most likely considerably less, you get the up-sell. And from what I can recall, it is fairly nice inside. So the guy is chillin', relaxed, curious, and says ok to another couple of Jacksons or thereabouts, and they're off to the races.
And then, if nothing has changed since I tried the place, the guys gets a halfway decent mahsahgee and is encouraged to rub one out at the end while the girl watches and tries not to get hit by stray fire.
Or I could be totally wrong!

At a legit place in Holbrook a few years ago, I got the 90 minutes special for 50.00. The gal did the body massage for an hour and then they had me get dressed an escorted me to a recliner in a foot massage section toward the front of the spa. To my surprise and disappointment a guy comes over with a tub of water and begins the foot massage. I really wanted to leave at this point but I didn't want to insult anyone, so I endured it, but it was very creepy to me having a guy rubbing my feet. Maybe I am just overly homophobic.

For best results, take the names of the good ones and call ahead to check for availability. And I think this goes for any place. I've had shit results from Asian GFE places in the city by walking in and taking whatever pops out, but that doesn't mean the whole staff is shit. It just means I should have done better research. Sounds like you've been to Joy and Grace before so I think you should be taking names. And maybe tell the mamasan about the experience too.
