Id like to know what i did to get a temporary ban.

You posted a new thread about the article in Newsday that detailed the new laws governing hourly rates for hotels/motels.
In that post you used the term with the initials H T twice. Twice.
Slinky has stated for years that this one one of those terms and topics he does not want addressed on his board.
That was the most egregious violation.
What made it worse was that other people had already warned not to talk about this in the LI Bust thread, including one person who was banned longer than you.
Had you read that thread, where if worded correctly, your post might have been allowed, you decided to start a whole new thread even though the law was already being talked about in two other threads.
So the fact you decided to start a new thread on a topic already being warned about in two other threads just made your violation stand out that much more.
