Calling out a misspelling of words used in a post
Before calling out a poster for misspelling a word it may pay to look up the so called misspelled word.
For example the word deposite (see link below)
Turns out this spelling is correct in Spanish and Portuguese. Deposite is also an obsolete spelling of deposit.
I would think that few would respond to colour in a post as most know it is the UK English spelling - yet I would guess that there are a lot more posters to UG who commonly speak/write Spanish than those that speak/write UK English.
