I cut my hand and needed to visit CityMD for a tetanus shot. As long as I was there I got a full STD panel. Of course, everything came back fine. I didn't expect anything, but still, there is always that sigh of relief to get the clean bill of health.

My last test was over a year ago, and it took an injury to get my lazy but to the clinic.

Average hobbiests should probably get tested twice a year. Those partaking of BBFS should do so more frequently. I don't know how much more. Probably at least quarterly, if not more often. Ask your doctor.
So, when was the last time you got tested? Don't wait for an excuse like I did.

Anyone living near or plan to visit Downtown Brooklyn, there is a free std clinic on flatbush. They offer the quick and blood lab tests for HIV. The quick test is the finger prick that takes a few minutes to process. The blood lab test is where they draw a vial of blood and get a more accurate reading.

They used to offer free testing for most STDs but due to budget cuts, they are only offered when you are showing symptoms. Also, if you ARE showing symptoms, you get priority over the people who just want routine testing.

So obviously when you go there you tell them that it stings when you pee in the morning and there is a little white discharge and this starteyesterday after you had unprotected sex three weeks ago when you picked up a girl at a bar. You never saw her again and you didn't get her #.

Does a provider who tells a prospective client that she has no std and is HIV negative , have any obligation to show accurate test results to the client , if the client requests it?

#7
It has to do with FRAUD ...I recall over the years , some sex providers being sentenced by Judges for saying they are std negative when they were actually positive , consequently infecting defrauded clients In a non provider situation, was it Tony Curtis who was sued for infecting his sex partners?

The question you asked and the way it is written; is awkward in the least. You mention some sex providers and then talk about infecting sex partners in a nonprovider situation; weird and unclear.
Laws on liability of transmission of HIV vary from state to state. Bottomline treat all of your sexual encounters as though you are exposing yourself to one of many sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Always use a condom and/or go on the the PrEP protocol to avoid HIV if you are having a lot of unprotected sex.

LMAO. No. A provider has no responsibility to show any prospective client anything. Especially not something that has her name and personal info on it.

So, if a girl says she does BBBJ and then doesn't is that fraud too? LOL

It's an illegal industry. If a judge sentenced a provider for anything, it would have been for solicitation. I would have to see news reports or some documentation before believing that fraud nonsense.

slow and Easy... What's the law say in NY State? For provider/client scenario? And for non client/non provider situation involving fraud and transmission ?
it would help educate UG members THANKS

If someone tells you they are going to sell you cocaine, but the product that you buy turns out to be laced, do you think someone is going to go after the drug dealer for fraud or false advertising?

While I am not a lawyer, I am pretty sure they don't have regulations on how to conduct illegal businesses. I can just see it.
NYS statute 69. Prostitution is illegal, but if you are a prostitute, these are the rules you should follow.

Again, please provide any links to stories about escorts being prosecuted for fraud.

I'm not a lawyer either, but I would refer you to the police investigation related to the overdose death of the actor who played. Capote (his name escapes me now lol) The police tracked down the dealer and arrested him after the death Whether the defendant was convicted and sentenced, I cannot say As far as illegal drugs is concerned, I believe that SCPD and NCPD are actually tracking down and arresting ddrug dealers where overdoses are concerned Even tho it involves illegal activity
Similarly, I'm curious about whether there is similar parallel liability if a provider or individual knowingly infects a duped sex partner...Anyone know the law in NY state?
oh, his name is Phillip Seymour Hoffman

I don't deny that individuals who intentionally infect other people may be liable for criminal charges, depending on the laws where they are.

However, that's got nothing to do with escorting. It's not fraud. Maybe assault, or attempted murder, or some shit like that.

You wouldn't equate purposely lying about HIV or std status and infecting duped clients , akin to battery or assault or murder , if the client gets ill or gets a life threatening HIV type illness?
let's say a client asks a provider if she's clean or has no STDs or HIV The provider says she's clean as a whistle Based on that, the two have unprotected sex The client catches the disease from her Assime he has not seen any other provider ever but her so the illness is traceable to her
Isn't purposely infecting someone criminal? I'm very curious So throwing it out there for comment

Pet2--you are asking questions that seem to have limited, at best, applicability to most of the readers here. Like Waterclone said bringing a case against a sex worker you have hired for paid sex, with the purpose of suing her for infecting you with HIV or any STI, when you claim she claimed to be free of HIV or any other STI. I am not a lawyer either, but this seems like an incredibly difficult case to bring to trial. Is your aim to sue for damages?

And if you are thinking a public prosecutor would take this case when you hired sex worker for sex, you became infected with HIV, because you alledge she informed you she was HIV free. And you claim, as a person who purchases sex, you acquired HIV through this sex worker. Do you really think a prosecutor would take this virtually impossible case to prove?
Stop going to sex workers for sex if your concern is civil litigation or criminal prosecution to deal with your new HIV infection. You will never win and you've got an HIV infection.

You misunderstand. I agree that it is criminal (or should be) to lie about your HIV status and then have unprotected sex with someone. But the crime is not fraud. It's something else.

And I go back to my answer to your original question. A provider is under no obligation to show you her test results. If she doesn't show you, then don't do BBFS. It's that simple. Or if she tells you she's clean, you are welcome to trust her, or not. But, still, she isn't under any obligation to show you shit, especially not documentation with her identity on it.

I think if you have sex with someone while you have AIDS and you do it on purpose, it is like an assault.
I agree that it is not a fraud that will get you jail time.

What would be helpful would be a list of places to get free or low cost STD testing.
The suggestion of an unnamed place on Flatbush is kind of a good start.
Planned Parenthood is an option.
