Yeah, was in WSJ also. Address is 41-28 Main Street (piece that fell off was on 41RD part of building though).
If you do a street view you will see that other pieces like the one that fell on the woman are also missing from the façade in the past so pieces may have fallen off before. NYC building inspectors pretty good at closing down AMPs by identifying building violations in the AMP — finding things that may fall off a building and killing someone— not so much.

That building's basement had some tasty food stalls. It has been closed up with a renovation pending. Most likely, cheap, fly by night, work led to this tragedy.

If your in flushing or even Chinatown you need to always be careful walking around as most of the construction are done by individual using day laborer to make a buck regardless for any building code. I seen so many stop work orders post on job sites. While I’m sad that someone died from this I was not surprised it happen.

update on my last visit to 45-61. when i handed lilly 100 tip she put her hand in my pocket looking for more. my pants were hanging on the wall. i always seperate provider money from all other monies. be careful.

A few weeks ago I went back to Happy feet and I saw a woman named Coco and while the massage was 5/5 the st was a 3/5. Paid same as before for fs and house total $130.

I went by Happy Feet today and was confused by the entrance. The ground floor commercial space is vacant. It looks like one walks up the steps to the aquarium but stops at the elevator on the left. I saw that one can go to the right but it looked like that ran the risk of ending up in a different AMP. What floor is it actually on?

2nd floor. Either take the elevator up. You can get it from the street level (glass door of the left of the steps) or walk up the ten steps or so to the aquarium entrance and catch it there on your left— note that the elevator is not always working— or you can go up the stairway (go up the steps and take the door to the right of the aquarium entrance where the stairway starts).

I would of asked for $100 back get dressed and walk out never to return again. Allow shit like that will only get worst on next visit. Plus the ladies there aren’t young and a few look as old as the ladies on 38th in flushing.

It was dead last night. I was looking on 38th and 40th and nothing was out on 38th and 3 old ladies on 40th not my type. Some I take the drive to JH and it was dead as well. I drove all the way to 75th Street turned around and drove pack. At the light over by the Chinese restaurant on the corner I saw a guy hanging asking guy walking by something as I was in my car. But the guy was pointed to a doorway. I think there a fasthouse onthat block as the door open and a guy walked out as the other 2 walked in.

The only excitement I saw was a car speeding down Northern blvd and 3 nypd chasing after him. I try to keep up but got left in the dust.

255-08 Northern blvd recently moved to 245-12 Horace Harding. Presume same ownership, staff rotation, 4, 60 house fee and 120-100 tip. Would ask for more but settle at 100. ymmv with massage, depends on the providers. I had my ups and downs, ts. Relatively young providers, high 20's low 30's, younger than in other places. Everything covered.

Chinese New Year almost upon us. Girls should disappear for a while. It really is important to them. Not religious but so deeply cultural and traditional with many taboos because what you do on these holidays determines your whole year. So, they clean house and spruce up and share with family and most Chinese treat the days around Chinese New Year with great reverence. In many Asian countries at least in the past, you could not buy a bowl of rice during these days. Now things lightened up but I remember a few years back hitting the streets and expecting to find everything at least half speed and instead it was completely dead.

45-61 is full of old ladies, once in awhile you see a young one but they won’t stay because business is slow and they’re looking to make big tips.
