Error Msg "No Thread Specified"

I occasionally receive the following message when trying to launch the last post in a particular thread:

"No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

Today I noticed that the last post appeared to be one of those spam posts. When I drilled down to the actual thread, the last post was mine, not the one listed higher in the thread structure.

Is this message due to cleanup activities? That's my guess, just checking.

Yes it is due to clean up. If a spammer's account has been deleted his ghost remains but his post is gone. Some times this will also happen with deleted posts and it will look like some one is talking to themselves.

Thanks for confirming. It can be annoying, but I don't blame mgmt/support, I blame the assholes posting BS on this site. And usually the same BS post in multiple threads simultaneously.
