ED vs Hair loss treatments

Just a random thought.

Years ago mens magazines and late night ads were constantly targeting balding with all kinds of miracle treatments. All these snake oil products, or weird shit like plugs that cost thousands of dollars.

Those seem to have dried up and have been replaced by all types of ED products you can order online.

Both play on male insecurities and figures guys will want to believe what they are selling will work.

On reason I think the hair treatment stuff isn't as prevalent is because baldness is a lot more acceptable these days.

The media portrays guys with shaved heads as hero tough guys, the Rock, Jason Streham, Vin Diesel, instead of the butt of jokes.

But ED medicine isn't just for Grandpa anymore as more and more younger guys, addicted to porn or for whatever reason can't get it up.

Some of the stuff seems legit like HIMs but there is some weird shit out there

I keep seeing these ads, no matter how many times I delete and hide them where different celebrities or fake doctors tell you "this one trick will unclog your arteries if you do it once a day"

The problem is I did try to watch it to the end a few times but it just keeps going around in circles and never gets to the point, at least not in five to ten minutes.

Not sure what the purpose of this one is because if they were really trying to sell something why would they frustrate their potential clients by making them watch for so long?

Anyone see the one I'm talking about? Lately they've been using an old British sounding woman.

That old British lady is supposed to be some health guru. It's total bull shit. She does the same thing with prostate problems. Do this one simple exercise. Then you watch for ten minutes and they never tell you what it is. Then once you watch the algorithm floods your feed with one prostrate video after another. All I can think of is that the creator must get some monatary reward if people watch the video for an extended period of time.

You're probably right. I was talking about how Social Media is monetized with a friend last night and she was explaining how it's based on clicks and how long you watch the video.

The name brand is “Hims”…. There’s also “hers”.

Anyways they do target men and women insecurities. But all they did was repackage rogaine, propecia and viagra . And gave them the broad title of “hims”.
