Eating Pussy Can Give You Cancer - no BS

Interesting thread.
I know, I have been thinking about this all day.

I am wondering why it doesn't happen more often considering all the different ways it can be transferred, the scenarios are endless. It doesn't make sense why this is the first time we are hearing about it if this so called epidemic, wouldn't we all know at least one person each with throat cancer. I am not a doctor but I do have a fundamental understanding regarding disease and something about this study seems fishy (sorry I could not resist).

The viral link to non-infectious diseases such as cancers and even autism are recent discoveries. This is primarly due to better detection methods. Host immunity is still key to why some people get disease and some just carry or not even get sick.

Most rare diseases were discovered after advances in modern medicine, before people just died and it was categorized as a few things. I am not entirely convinced that virus can turn into cancer, I think either you have the cancer gene or you don't.

A virus can affect your immunity but so can immunosuppressants like corticosteroids which doctors give out like candy. The article states the men were all non smokers, why? were they asthmatic? did they use corticosteroid inhalers? I want to know more before reaching into this far fetched scenario of cunnilingus causes cancer. I guess I am jaded by all the pervert doctors trying to link everything to sex, I just don't buy it.

Keep in mind there is no evidence that the HPV is the cause of oral cancer in men. It was found in the cancerous cells and are probably linked to the cancer. HPV is highly prevalent here (~20 million) and most carrying it show no sign of infection or disease. So there is still a possiblity of coincidence. Unlike HIV and AIDS, higher titers of HIV resulted in lower white blood cells. Also, very liittle research was done demonstrating HPV can convert normal cells into cancerous ones.

Besides...

I think the doctors should prove masturbating causes blindess first before hand waving about HPV and oral cancer. For the record, my vision is still 20/20 and I haven't stopped masturbating...well not completely true, I stopped doing it myself, but I have been outsourcing that task :)

I agree, I think the article was premature at best. My money is still on corticosteroid inhalers and nasal sprays altering the natural defense systems and allow pre-existing cancer cells to flourish in the back of the throat. When you think about it the cancer was discovered in the back of the throat, the direct spot the inhalers and sprays hit, if it was transferred through cunnilingus why wouldn't it be on the tongue?

In the past 20 years if you even walk in an allergist or pulmonary doctors office you will be handed a corticosteroid mouth inhaler or nasal spray whether you need one or not. I write this from experience, I have been handed or given a script for one over a dozen times and they have a new one every couple of months, it's big buisness. It is an immunosuppressant and one of the side effects of immunosuppressants is that it can cause cancer. I think this whole HPV via cunnilingus might just be a cover up to the real cause.

Cancer studies that aim to study the link between lesser known causes of the disease will commonly control for (that is, eliminate the influence of) people with known causes of cancer, such as smoking.

But the facts are this: There is a correlation between number of oral sex partners, and rate of cancer.

Correlation does not prove causation, but it should raise a red flag, as evidence of correlation often leads eventually to evidence of causation.

Your observation on corticosteroid inhalers does little to discount the importance of the oral-sex/cancer association. Are those who have more oral-sex partners also more likely to use corticosteroid inhalers? I don't believe this to be true, and so I don't think the observation affects the significance of the research findings.

Emily, there are differing opinions about medical problems, no matter who you talk to.
However, it does seem based on this thread and others, that you have a predisposition to be negative about doctors.
I don't know the reason for this, and there are some good reasons for negative opinions about doctors but you seem to be overly negative about the medical profession in general.
A surgeon saved my life, so maybe I have a predisposition that is positive about the medical community but you seem to have an agenda and I don't think that I do.

Surgeons are a different story, they know what to do and there is no messing around, they do not do clinical diagnosis. I don't have an agenda but I have vast experiences with two kinds of popular specialists who are notoriously incompetent and over prescribe drugs that cause more harm then good. I would say I have seen close to 20 different doctors and they all have different opinions, am now seeing the best of the bunch when he is around. He is the best but even he deliberately lied to me about something major but I let it pass because I believe in his heart he just wanted me help me, so even the best you still have to double check their every move. He finally asked me what I thoughts were, that almost never happens. I was very pleased he wants me to be proactive, most become offended if you share any opionion that contradicts theirs about your own health.

Having been misdiagnosed numerous times by so called specialist so I tend to depend on my own logic which more people should do. When I read the article knowing what I know about doctors I do not take their conclusion as the only answer (there are holes in the story) and came up with another feasible scenario which I shared on the forum. I am a fan of this show Mystery Diagnosis and my story is standard. You should be lucky you never had to go through the gauntlet of shoulder shrugging narcissists in white coats because anyone who has feels the way I do about most of the medical profession.

BTW, this is a great topic, thank you for sharing it.
