Whenever I see "my last day in town" in an ad that says to me "skip my ad" . Nothing makes me feel more like :
1.I'm gonna get ripped off and you'll be gone
2.service will be shitty and you won't care cause its "you're last day in town"
3.you'll leave me in the lot waiting and won't care cause "its your last day in town"
Then the next day the ads up saying the same thing and I wonder what the purpose actually is of this marketing tool?

Yup - also "Only in town for a couple of days" has same effect for me. Besides the reasons you gave there is always the concern that the reason it is limited time only in town (and thus why you haven't seen the advert prior) is that it is an LE sting.

Perhaps the reason is that those women aren't all that bright. Or maybe (similar to what MayorSimpleton posted) they are just parroting the "ONE DAY ONLY!!" sales that many of the retail stores think gets the customers into the store.

I must say, when I post anything about leaving town, my phone starts blowing up... but I'm a little more trustworthy... miss you... btw, my last day in the town of Ronkonkoma is Friday at which time I plan to go to Plainview ;)

Completely different situation: The escorts that pop up out of nowhere (maybe on some sort of circuit I guess) for some reason think that "my last day in town" is a good marketing ploy, whereas when you post about leaving town, your phone "starts blowing up" because guys that know your reputation and were perhaps going to see you in next couple of days, now have to have to change their plans and see you now or wait until your are back in town again.
