I got this from a group on yahoo!
This link will filter out most of the annoying 30 times a day spam that you get in the ES section of craigs list. Now good luck filtering out the rest of the BS

craigs list filter no longer working..

How do I find a current updated filter. This one stopped working recently. I think the spam posters have figured out to change the text they post so the filters no longer trap them.

It's very easy to make your own and just keep it in Word or anything else on your computer. Just take a look at the first post in this thread: see all the +-XXXXXXX? each XXXXXX gets filtered out. So, just make your own list of phone numbers or other key words, and every time you come up with a place who's ads you no longer want to see, ad it to your list (i.e. put+- in front of it and slap it in there).

slinky helps navigate the often shallow waters of CL.
I love this place, UtopiaGuide once again proves its value.
Must save CL viewers hundreds of hours of wasted time with only the valid listings being mentioned here, not to mention money spent on bogus listings.
