Can there be such a disparity???

#1

Here we have a French Canadian provider who by the name of Eriana Rose was making a run at being an independent charging $800 an hour. She is now back in Montreal Canada working for an agency using the name Alanna charging only $200 in Canadian dollars which is about $155 U.S. Since the good Canadian agencies use actual pics I think it's time I take a road trip.

The title of this thread along with along with The Exiled is somewhat misleading as it implies that the is a big disparity in the woman's price between that charged in Canada vs US.

The problem with the comparison as I see it is the same thing in not being sold; she is selling a legal product in Canada and an illegal product in the US, that can get her jailed, earnings confiscated, legal expenses, etc.

You may want to bone up on Canadian prositution laws .

I did before I posted. The new law, passed in 2014 and upheld recently, says that it is illegal to profit from prostitution, e.g., brothels, advertising, but not illegal for an individual selling sex in exchange for money.

Seems to me it you are correct about my post if indeed she is working for an agency if they advertised for her services as a prostitute.
Since The Exiled said that "She is now back in Montreal Canada working for an agency using the name Alanna charging only $200 in Canadian dollars which is about $155 U.S." my guess, based solely from the low price for such a high end prostitute, is that the agency is charging for her nonsexual services as an escort (people do hire them for certain nonsexual functions or functions at relatively tame bachelor or bachelorette parties where nudity but not sex is involved) and whatever additional and private negotiations for sexual services between her and the client are legal for her.

If any of this is incorrect kindly tell me of your sources. Mine are Wikipedia and other legit Canadian news outlets.

My take is that if she herself was selling her sexual service for money that's ok but if an agent is doing so on her behalf that's illegal. As a side note its a crime to buy that service.

My take also. Certainly eliminates the risk to the girl of an undercover sting.

If a guy cannot legally buy the service then it seems it is not possible to have paid for sex w/o breaking the law.
Correct - the john is committing an illegal act. But the prostitute has not broken the law which is why, IMHO, an undercover sting in Canada where undercover LE gets an offer from the girl directly for sex for money is not an illegal act on the part of the girl.

Very strange - since it is illegal to purchase sexual services but legal to sell them as one judge called it 'Alice in Wonderland' state of Canadian prostitution law'

By not criminalizing the selling sex the girl (or guy selling sex for those so inclined) has lower (if you will consider them) overhead costs such as legal costs, criminal record cost (she can have a legit job during the week that she won't get fired from if arrested for hooking on the weekend to make a couple of extra bucks - or whatever the slang for C$ is) etc all of which, IMHOP, a considerations to the pricing structure.

I think the point of their law is to stop making criminals out of the women who have a tough life as it is but at same time squash demand.

Ok you already know the new law makes it legal to sell but illegal to buy. None of it matters since none of it is enforced unless there are complaints. If you are using reputable agencies your chances of confronting LE are zero. When the new law went into effect the only difference was that the agencies changed the pics in their ads by having the women dressed instead of nude. They are now back to nude pics.

Genius, the $200 they charge is for everything. It's not like Vegas where you would have to be a complete imbecile to use a agency. Also I don't see these girls figuring the cost of arrest into their pricing. It's the cost of high end hotels, feeding themselves at the best restaurants, designer clothes and simply greed and high hopes. I've seen a lot of Canadian girls coming to the U.S. and charging $400 or $500 and then going back home to a $200 Montreal agency. This one was up there at $800 but if her pics are actual I can see why. I should know in two weeks if I'm able to get away and you will have a full report.

I did some due diligence on Eriana Rose. Her website is gone and all her reviews are deleted. It's like she never existed. I would like to know what your thoughts on the reason for that are.

These new laws were enacted due to human sex trafficking. I've never come across that and I think it's safe to say all these women are in it to make a buck and that nobody is forcing them. Whether it effects them psychologically is another story.

Holy cow - if you find her again with the 200 price kindly post it - while you're at it best flights also would be helpful
It's not a matter of finding her again. For the time being she is working at a Montreal agency so it's just a matter of getting up there before she moves on. A lot of these girls change agencies often. Also if she comes back to the U.S. forget about $200.
