Should reviews on these girls be allowed on UG? Under UG rules, any
references to these agencies/indys are censored. This poses certain
problems if reviews were to be posted. The agencies/indies could not be
specifically named, and any attempts to circumvent the asterisks would
result in the offending member being banned. While most of the UG
membership would be able to figure out which agency/indy was being reviewed,
there’s always that one member who would still ask. This isn’t so much a
problem as members would most likely tell them to do a search, explain that
the agency/indy was banned, or use the clues to check other boards. That
being said, there will always be one or two who will try to circumvent the
asterisks and post the banned info, either through ignorance of the rules,
or trying to be too clever with the rules (i.e. touching the line but not
crossing it.) This leads to the usual banning of the offender, and then
comes the cries of “I didn’t know”, “I wasn’t doing it on purpose”, “The
rules suck”, etc. Then we get into the other arguments of how “UG censors
posts”, “there’s not enough reviews”, “people don’t post because they don’t
want to get banned”, etc. So the question is do we allowed reviews of
banned agency/indy girls, and in what forms/restrictions do we allow them?

First of all, I don't necessarily know who has been banned, unless I happen to read a thread in which whatever got them banned happenned to occur. So I might review someone who is banned without realizing it, until my post doesn't show up, or is somehow otherwise censored.

One possibility is to make public a list of who is banned. I don't recommend this, nor do I think you would want to. Also, it would be a pain in the ass to check everytime.

Second, and more importantly, it seems that by banning reviews of someone, the intent may be to punish whoever is being reviewed, but it is the UG readership that is being deprived of information. And honest reviews, whether positive, negative or in-between, help us UGers all make more informed decisions. That, to me, is the primary purpose of all honest reviews. The fact that they might also help or hurt a particular provider is secondary. If someone gets banned, they are prevented from posting, and rightfully so. But that has no bearing on whether or not they are a provider worth seeing. If she also is a poor provider, her reviews will reflect that, and prevent other UGers from making a mistake. On the other hand, if she can suck an armadillo through a garden hose, well, that's the type of information that should be shouted from the hilltops.

Admittedly, I am not addressing the aspect that providers take out ads, and pay for this site, and that may present other considerations, but that's my 2 cents.

Claimed GFE and did nothing but take my money" means nothing to me. It's half the story. I've had so-so experiences with girls. I believe posting them would simply be rude. Everyone has a bad or off day. In my mind she's "punished" in the fact that I'll never see her again. Saying that, I would like to know about blatant scams. That's different. A review is just one person's point of view as to how the session went w/o a rebuttal. But a flat scam is not subjective and I'd want to know about it.

If we tried to get everyone to agree on the exact point of difference between a horrible provider and a scam, we'd be here forever. Either one is advice to other UGers not to see that provider. I appreciate that kind of info whether it means your definition of a scam or not. Why shouldn't I have the right to read it if someone else wants to provide it. Each person can decide for themselves whether to listen, and how much, if any, weight to give it.

I have no problem with a list of the banned. Sort of like a black list. It will prevent some of those who know the consequences from committing whatever crime that'll get them banned here. Newbie’s probably won't know about this unless it's stuck on top or has a link (button) on a main page... So I'd cut first time offenders some slack and just dole out whatever penalty they deserve. Repeat offenders get listed in "the banned".
