I had the mispleasure of visiting Atlanta a few times. None of which were very successful in terms of hobbying (excluding AMPS). There are quite a few AMPS. Mostly north of Atlanta towards the Buckhead area. A car is mandatory if you plan on hobbying. Quite a few oriental shops featuring Vietnamese and Chinese girls with a mix of Korean and japanese as well. Door fees are comparative to the New York, NJ area. From what I understand, extras are readily available in most of the AMPS. Do your homework with regards to reviews and always remember to negotiate.
The strip clubs are a complete waste of time. No extras are available. I visited about 7 of them, ranging from hole in the wall seedy places to high end clubs. Unless you're planning on spending a ton of money in Cheetahs VIP room, you'll get no where very quickly (except broke).
One thing I did find interesting, is that the cab drivers in Downtown Atlanta (around the Hilton Hotel) can refer you to local providers. I had two cabbies offer to "hook me up" with a local girl for a finders fee. I also had the displeasure of being openly propositioned by a SW in front of the Hilton by a latina heffer driving around in a white ford escort.
Whatever you do, be careful. Atlanta is not very hobbying friendly with SW's. LE Stings are very prominent.
