Advise on Microsoft Mail ? Thanks

Hello, I would appreciate if anyone could provide some tech advise. I use Microsoft Mail. Starting last night it asked me for my user name and password which it does about every 2 months and took about 5 entries before it took....then all of a sudden it doubled every email in my in box....I had about 300 emails and I went through and deleted them and now everytime I receive a brand new email....it sends it twice ?? How do I reset this back to normal ?

not sure but you could google the problem and it may give you an answer. I am not crazy about Microsoft mail--just not my preference.

Just got a duplicate email from a friend of mine....he had the solution....I somehow inadvertently had 2 email accounts with the same name....all I had to do was delete one if them and problem solved....
