For those of you who thought the $400 prix-fixe menu at Masa was expensive, Forbes reports that Aragawa in Tokyo charges $400 for just one eight ounce portion of Kobe beef (at least at Masa you get 24 different courses for that price). Compared with Tokyo, London and Paris prices, New York's top restaurants are cheap.
