I love Judge and my favorite player all time is Donnie. Donnie was the best player in baseball for 4-5 years. Just didn’t do it long enough. I think Judge will get there. Just have to do it a little longer. I am for keeping the HOF standards high. If I am going to say no to Trout - then right now I have to say no to Donnie and Judge right now.

And you know what? By not getting in, takes nothing away from how great Mattingly was.

I'm not happy with Grisham taking the QO. I was hoping they'd move on from him and find someone with better bat to ball skills.

I want them to resign Bellinger but now doing so locks them in to the same outfield that didn't get it done last year.

Plus that's $22 million that could be used elsewhere.

yup. Bad move. Now Cashman will play him everyday now matter what. He refuses to admit when he makes mistakes

I guess Cashman gambled and lost. But Grisham had a great year. Are you thinking he will not have at least a really good year? A CF that put up those numbers, for a one year deal? It’s not that bad. Of coarse they should still sign Bellenger.

I think he will revert to what he has always been - 210 BA, 18 HR and 50 RBI. I don’t think he all of a sudden he is the player from 2025. This is a big blunder. I would have preferred Dominguez in LF and Belly in CF. Then use that 22 mill for something that’s actually good. What a stupid move. I am really annoyed.

I've read unbiased reports from scouts on Jones and they concede he has both a very high ceiling but also potentially a very low floor. His swing falls apart out of nowhere and is still too strikeout prone. So the Yankees know not to count on him for 2026. If he improves at AAA and there is a need because of injury he is on the 40 man roster this year.

Dominguez is another story. His defense in left had improved to where he isn't a liability and he continues to work hard on it, going to winter ball to play left field and work on his right handed swing. Even with his problems batting righty he still had a better average than Chislom.

Terrible decision by Cashman, that 22 million could have been used in many other places.
You got Jones knocking on the door - you Gita see what he can do or trade him
Dominguez they keep jerking around, let this kid play.

Bellinger was fine during regular season but disappeared in post season like Grisham, and rest of the team. Is he a good fit for yankees of course but not more than 150 million. They NEED hitters who get on base!

Gotta see what he can do and if not move him now while his value is at its peak. He's going to be 25, he's not a super young prospect anymore. Shit or get off the pot time for Cashman.

Trade for Neto LAA to be starting SS
Trade for Donovan STL to be starting 3B
Trade for Skoobs DET

Sign Bellinger
Sign Fairbanks
Sign Shawn Armstrong
Sign Realmuto or Jansen to platoon with Wells

Thats my Yankee holiday wishlist

I agree his numbers aren’t there yet, however, he doesn’t need a ring. It would help, but does not need that to get in
Let me clarify what I meant.
If he retired today his numbers don't get him in HOF, maybe if he had a ring it gets him closer. But I don't think he there yet.
He hits 500 hr he is in with or without a ring.

He missed 50 games in 2018, 60 games in 2019 - While sitting at 27 hrs each year.
In 2023 he missed 56 games and was at 37 hrs already in just over 100 games. That year he could have hit 60+ easily.
He has missed 156 games just those thee years combined. Imagine how many more hrs he would have.
He currently sits at 368 hrs.

2023 he was on a tear until that toe injury out in LA.

All that said it would be a travesty to not get this guy a ring.
