If they get 25hr/75rbi/260 average out of Cespedes they are a dangerous team.

They have plenty of starting pitching, and like BillyS said, if Diaz and Betances are their old self, that is a lockdown BP with Lugo.

Problem is that division is tough, Braves and Phillies will be solid, people overlook the Phillies, but Girardi will make a difference. I expect a hangover with the Nats, and losing Rendon will be tough.

Wild card is that our pitching staff stays healthy like they did all of last year. Losing Wheeler and his innings will be hard to replace. Matz is always one game from the IR,

NY Post is reporting that Cohen is deeply unhappy with the Wilpons changing the terms of the deal at a very late stage and has decided to walk away.

I believe Cohen would've been the richest owner in baseball had the deal went through. Now Mets fans are stuck with the Wilpons indefinitely.

Rough off-season for this franchise so far and we've still got a few weeks before pitchers and catchers report.

Was never a guarantee the deal would have been approved by MLB. Manfred supposedly had some concerns over hiw "clean" Cohen's money was.
Having said that, MLB needs to force the Wilpons to sell. They are horrendous
